Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Welcomes Satoru Suzuki to its Artist Roster

LOS ANGELES, CA – August 30, 2012
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl guitar company, welcomes to its artist roster Satoru Suzuki, a hard-rock Japanese guitarist & actress.

Satoru has had her sights set on music since she was nine, learning both piano and violin. At 13-years-old she learned to play guitar and started doing work with bands, building her love for rock music. By the time she was 17, she formed her first band, COP, as the lyricist and composer. After also exploring music as a solo artist, she later formed the band Mercrius, and moved on to her current band, Suzaku. The original all girl hard-rock band, based in Japan, have gone on tour in America twice in 2008 and 2009. In addition, Satoru joined the Japan Tour and South America Tour of The Iron Maidens, and has played with several pop idols and famous musicians in Japan.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Satoru has joined the alternative metal band, Evisc, and has played with various other artists. She returns home to Japan occasionally.

“Don’t let Satoru fool you…. She is so softly spoken, so nice, so just demure, that at first you think, hmmmm…. Maybe she can play ok. Then she plays and you realize you are in the room with one of the best female lead guitarists that you will see execute a perfect Black Sabbath solo. Any metal solo, by any metal band. Be afraid, be very afraid, but be in awe and don’t miss her. She can, um, demurly, kick all our wanna-be-a-lead-player butts! Welcome Satoru, welcome,” said Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.

Check out Satoru’s Facebook page for more information, and follower her on twitter.
