Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Welcomes Lindsay Schoolcraft to its Artist Roster

LOS ANGELES, CA – January 28, 2013
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl guitar company, welcomes to its artist roster Lindsay Schoolcraft, a Canadian solo artist who sings and plays piano, harp, and guitar.

After fronting various rock bands since her teens, Lindsay felt it was time to do something different and become a solo artist. “It just felt right, the music I’ve always written could survive the song writing process with or without a band,” said Lindsay. She incorporates Celtic harp into her music, and dreams to one day work with real orchestras. Lindsay describes her first EP, Rushing Through The Sky, as “dark, beautiful, elegant, humble, and smart.”

Lindsay’s sound was honed from her years at The Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto), where she received classical training in voice and piano. Artists such as Evanescence and Bjork are a couple of her influences during the writing and recording process.

“Lindsay is so gothic and symphonic sounding – big sound, big talent, big songs. Lindsay calls to the sky and the sky will listen and answer her back. Moving sounds, heartfelt and heartbreaking all at once. Welcome to the family, girl!” says Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars.
