Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Welcomes Lindsay Rush to its Artist Roster

LOS ANGELES, CA – January 14, 2013
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl guitar company, welcomes to its artist roster Lindsay Rush, a singer-songwriter and guitarist with energetic, emotion-filled acoustic songs.

Lindsay started writing music in high school, where she wanted a way to express herself. “When I write, I want to be a voice for people who feel like they don’t have one,” said Lindsay. She soon began playing the guitar and could be found at various clubs near her home in the artsy community of New Hope, Pennsylvania. Her love for creating her own music soon turned into a passion for performing and touring. In 2010, Lindsay moved to Los Angeles and began writing with several highly respected songwriters. While continuing to perform, she is currently pitching her songs to top artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Faith Hill, and Britney Spears.

Lindsay’s clear and strong voice seems to channel iconic artists such as Shawn Colvin, Susanna Hoffs, and Michelle Branch. In playing solo acoustic, her performances consist of much more power than would be expected from one girl with a guitar. In between each catchy, thoughtfully crafted song, audiences are treated to Lindsay’s dry, quick wit and humorous stories of life on the road. Her combined strengths have led her to performing at famous venues all over the United States and Canada with the likes of Joe Cocker, Styx, Lisa Loeb, The Bangles, Rick Springfield, and more. “You won’t find anyone who works harder than Lindsay,” said rock legend Pat Benatar, which Lindsay has opened for on her last three tours.

“Lindsay is über talented. I don’t know how else to say it, but everyone from The Bangles to Pat Benatar know it and hear it, too,” says Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars. “When this much charisma comes from your soul, life is but a dream.”
