Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Welcomes The Franklin Girls to its Artist Roster ~ Press Release

Daisy Rock Girl Guitars Welcomes The Franklin Girls to its Artist Roster

LOS ANGELES, CA – April 20, 2012
Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl guitar company, welcomes to its artist roster The Franklin Girls, sisters Adriana (age 16) and Annelisa (age 12), the fun-loving sister duo with an original old-school style of pop music with catchy hooks.

The Franklin Girls recently released their first album, named after their indie internet TV show Places to Go which follows their life on the road.  The girls’ main focus is to stay true to their music and fans, and their quest to make a difference. Their main influences are varied, ranging from The Beatles’ early music, to current recording artist like Jesse J, Bruno Mars, The Wonders, including covers and originals featured on the hit NBC TV show, Glee.

In a TV interview with Barbara Bruce for the show Business Matters, Adriana shared how The Franklin Girls came to be. “We started out playing Beatles songs with our dad around the kitchen table, it just kind of grew from there. I wanted to learn how to lay guitar and he taught me. She (Annelisa) wanted to learn how to sing and write songs, and it just kind of is a very natural and organic thing. It just happened—it was meant to happen.”

Do you like your music to make you happy and have lots of fun?  That is what sisters Adriana and Annelisa do when they sing and play their guitars,” said Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars. “It makes you kinda feel like the world is there for you to have a grand ole time with!  Just listen and Jump!”
