Girls Rock! UK is a non-profit organization that works towards encouraging musical and artistic talent in girls and women from age eight and on. The event, sponsored by Daisy Rock, takes place at the Lambeth Women\'s Project in London from August 17th through August 19th. Daisy Rock will supply guitars for lessons and workshops, and the event culminates in a showcase gig at the Windmill in Brixton.

Look for Girls Rock! Week, the next non-profit event, scheduled for summer 2008.
