Daisy Rock to donate guitar to CITR (Country in the Rockies) Event for second year in a row to help fight against Cancer.
Last year the donated Daisy Rock guitar brought in a very generous donation and was purchased by a very well known Texas Artist, Robert Earl Keen.
Imagine a world without cancer. That is their goal! Country music artists and music industry executives participate in the weeklong Country In The Rockies ski event held annually in Crested Butte, Colorado. All of the funds raised for this event benefit the Frances Williams Preston Laboratories, a division of the T. J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville.
The Country In The Rockies auction is a big part of this event. It traditionally earns more than $250,000 each year. It features handwritten lyrics, jewelry, trips to everywhere, and signed guitars. This year they will have two Harley Motorcycles for the Auction generously donated by Cool Springs Harley Davidson.
