I took a chance and purchased the Daisy Rock Rock Candy Bass. When it arrived, I hooked it up to see what it had “under the hood.” Immediately I was impressed with the tone AND the design. It is true, female musicians have different needs in their instruments; our hands are typically smaller than men’s hands and the weight of a guitar is quite important. I have played many gigs where by the 2nd set, my shoulders would ache because the bass was too heavy for me. And when you’re thinking about how uncomfortable you are, you’re not thinking as much about your playing and performance. This guitar is the total package for me because although I want my bass to perform well and be reliable on gigs, I also want it to make a statement. I get many complements and comments when I flash this pretty little thing around!
